What are your thoughts on this?
Mine: there is a big difference between a natural therapist who has spent years studying and qualifying with recognised and registered training organisations, and someone peddling snake oil because they've spent some time on Google.
When I see a patient for say, depression, I insist that they stay on their medication at its current level until their prescribing doctor says it's okay to reduce their dose or come off it. Why? Because it would be downright dangerous to do so. I can help them identify and treat any issues (like gut health) that might be contributing to their depression, but that doesn't mean throwing their current treatment plan out the window (just enhancing it).
Natural therapies *is* science when done right, not science's arch nemesis.
