There's a lot of programs out there at the moment that are promising to turn real, raw women into tiny pixies ready for bikini season (yes, apparently we have to prepare for this six months early) - convincing them that their worth is directly related to the numbers on the scale, and that pain and starvation are the best way to feel better about yourself.
To be blunt: if you rely on making people feel bad about themselves to get people into your tribe and ask them to compromise their long term health to get results, you're not providing a service. You're providing a disservice.
So: as we work our way into summer, I'm offering something different. I'm going to teach people how to really care for their bodies, teach them how our body actually works with regards to storing energy and how you can use that to your advantage, and work with you to find a path to feeling great this summer that works for YOU.
